Little Theo at his Christening💕

His Mum & Dad were one of my first ever paid shoots, over four years ago. Since then I have photographed them 8 times from weddings to maternity to newborns to christenings to new baby announcements. It is the greatest honour to be asked back to capture a family again and an even bigger honour to be asked back again and again and again 🥹

Humongous thanks to to shooting this one on my behalf so I could keep the tradition going.

Sometimes I pride myself on bringing the good vibes, s**t and giggles and enthusiasm to a wedding day.

And other times I pride myself on being able get a smile out of the grumpiest of toddlers.

Little Mae here wanted absolutely nothing to do with me and my stupid big camera but for this stubborn photographer, that meant it was game on.

I tried to catch her unawares being cute in her little romper, smelling flowers but she was onto me. I tried to make friends with her while she ate some popcorn, absolutely not.

In the end I resorted to the well tested, universal and widely effective…fake sneeze. Over and over and over again.

Probs won’t nail your flat lay details shot but will fake sneeze as many times as needed to make your kids giggle and make sure you end up with a photo of your little ones being cute 🤷🏼‍♀️

Katie + Riley at where they booked me the most adorable cabin for the weekend, bought me a giant glass of Prosecco while I was location scouting and just made me feel like a part of their beautiful day.

And not even the giant red sty on my eye could dampen my spirits for this day!

Katie is sunshine in human form and Riley is a true gentlemen, what a team they will be!!
