It breaks my heart to be writing this post

Our loki is needing more care and support after his recent illness and ive had to make the hard decision to hang up my camera for the forseeable future

Our loki was born at 24 weeks in april 2021 at 536 grams , 7 months of nicu countless surgeries before coming home on full time oxygen for 465 days , since then hes had countless hospital admissions , heart surgeries and more which i have worked through it all

He has severe chronic lung disease , heart problems and therapies each week

Lokis 3rd birthday april this year he stopped breathing and had to be hospitalised and had about a month stay , since then we have had some news from his specialists about his lungs and heart ....

Ive met so many amazing people and families , ive won awards and have been published for my photography and have built an outstanding reputation here its my love and my absolute passion to provide affordable services for brides and families

I cant thank you all for the love and support we have recieved thus far and wether it be 2 years or 5 years i hope to be back doing what i love

Hi there guys ,

An update on little loki he unfortunately is still having trouble breathing and is on week 3 of hospital and is still on 2 litres of oxygen , they are possibly wanting to reinsert feeding tube tomorrow if he cant keep his intake up

Kara is slowly editing etc and getting back to and organising her lovely clients , please make sure to show patience as when kara is not at the hospital she is working still making sure her brides in particular are taken care of

I myself have turned a corner and am becoming a lot better but loki is very much the same at the moment

Want to say a big thank you for messages and the support from my wonderful clients and colleagues 🌸

Edit** i am slowly catching up on work , editing and preparing for next brides etc
As unfortunately the world doesnt stop when you have a sick child

But boy am i lucky to have the best job in the world as a distraction , stay tuned for some more gorgeous bridal and family sneak peeks soon

**ANNOUNCEMENT **

unfortunately our loki has been extremely unwell and has been in hospital for a few days after unfortunately stopping breathing

Hes stable and in great care battling rsv and flu A all of which are not great for our lokis already chronic lungs and awaiting other results

I myself am not very well as well so there may be a delay in response and or galleries etc

for stepping in last minute to help photograph a wedding so i could be by my sons side , your an absolute angel and we cant thank you enough

Just a little reminder to hug your babies a bit tighter today 🌸
