Some days I photograph families.
Some days I write about gods and cursed soulbonds.
Some days I survive on cuddles and caffeine.
All of it is part of me —
the soft and the strong, the real and the imagined.
I make magic for a living,

Motherhood changed the way I see everything.
It softened my gaze and sharpened my heart.
It taught me to find beauty in the in-between moments,
the ones that don’t ask for attention but hold everything that matters.

Now, I chase light the way my children chase butterflies,
with joy, wonder, and no rush to catch it.
I’ve stopped searching for perfection.
I look for truth instead; in messy hair, in quiet cuddles,
in the split-second glance between a mother and her child
when the world disappears, and only love remains.

I photograph love not to perfect it,
but to preserve it,
to hold it still, just long enough to say:
This happened. This mattered. This was real.

Because the magic is already there,
in the chaos, the closeness, the cracked-open moments.
I’m not here to stage your story,
but to honour it.
To witness the way your child reaches for your hand.
The way you exhale when they rest against your chest.
The way you love fully, fiercely, quietly,
even when you think no one sees.

This is the kind of love worth remembering.
Imperfect. Honest.
And absolutely beautiful.

To the mums who rise before the sun,
tired but present.
Who pack the lunches, brush the hair,
and whisper "you’ve got this"
even when they don’t feel it themselves.

To the mums who show up,
not because it’s easy,
but because they choose love again and again.

In the chaos,
in the quiet,
in the tiny moments that no one else sees,
they are there.
Holding hands.
Holding space.
Holding everything together with nothing but grit and heart.

They show up to school gates with messy buns and big hearts.

There is a power in her now,
not loud or boastful,
but ancient.
Rooted.
Unshakable.

She is becoming,
and yet she is already more than she’s ever been.
A vessel of creation.
A home before there is a house.
A rhythm of two heartbeats carried in one body.

They call it waiting,
but she is not still.
She is building galaxies beneath her skin.
She is stretching, softening, surrendering,
and still, she has never stood taller.

There is strength in every breath.
In every ache.
