Capturing a wedding for me is about more than just checking off an imaginary list; it’s about staying switched onto the energy of the day. I look for the unscripted moments - the way a sister’s expression changes, the nervous playing of your hands during vows and the absolute relief of a post-ceremony beer.

By focusing on these “in-between” moments alongside the “must have” shots, I find I’m able to document not just how the day looked, but exactly how it felt to be there.

I’ve always found that backyard weddings (or in this case, front yard!) have a way of lowering everyone’s guard and I really love being apart of them.

For Nick and Hugo, the afternoon was full of heaps of laughter + genuine joy. A fantastic reminder that the best weddings are the ones that feel like a direct reflection of you two as a couple!

Rain at a wedding is normally a ‘Plan B’ but I honestly see it as an opportunity! ☔️

To get this shot of Lana and Corey, I tucked a flash behind them to create that rim light and illuminate the rain. I love creating these kinds of night portraits and the more it’s pouring the better it looks!

Starting with a super lowkey + fun ceremony, then shared laughter across the table at .lennox and finally a chaotic shift where shoes came off and ski shots came out.

One for the books. The trust I felt from Jenny and Coleton meant I could really just do my thing and disappear into the crowd to capture the real stuff. Hopefully you can tell by the photos how much fun I was having!
