Never thought I’d say this, but also don’t want to jinx it. But somehow.. magically, mental load had freed lately on all fronts, I don’t know how I suddenly get the luxury of time to do more of the things I enjoy.

So…Photography walks are back. Trigger happy when I see architecture and nature.

In addition to my gazillion other hobbies 😁

Now to get more of these images off my camera roll and on to document this on my feed so it’s not just a fleeting memory. But also I’ve quite enjoyed less social media time, so will see.

I’ve been meaning to do a series of photo dumps of the gazillion things that have been happening in the last few months. Before I could sort through all of the gazillion snaps that I’ve got on my phone.. a few months have just zipped by 🤦🏻‍♀️

So better late than never.. here are my 10 highlight snaps to summarise some of the things in the last few months …

In order…

1 & 2) September: China work trip where I went trigger crazy and took about 2736362 architectural photos, because it was just so pretty..
3 & 4) September - November: Home renovation sneaky peek (of installing in-build wall cellar and ground floor area) where our dining area served as a make shift home cinema for a few weeks!
5) October: weekend getaway to Gold Coast to meet my sister and her little fam and take a breather from the home decorating/reno
6) November: work and “play”-cation in Mooloolaba - super appreciative of the photography opportunity. The “play” part was definitely more for the kids (and thanks hubby for looking after them) so I could do my job!
7) another Gold Coast mini getaway over the festive with the in laws.. and per usual I obsessed and took a lot of photos of the hotel interiors.
8) treated myself with a ticket to the Grease musical which I enjoyed with my awesome girlfriends!
9 & 10) continued my birthday celebrations in Thailand, where I took endless photos of architecture and street life 😅 I’m going to have so much fun sifting through these.

I also just realised I haven’t even listed my Adelaide trip above… it did go by in a blur (because it was crazy work month) and I didn’t get to take very many photos to share.

Glad to report that I did have a restful January though.. am definitely feel recharged and ready to take on 2025.

It’s beginning to look like Christmas around here… 🎄thanks to the elves’ hard work.. we finally found time to put up our Xmas tree…while I supervised 🤣

Oh and we finally popped open the champagne that’s been lying around in our fridge..reserved for when our home renovations are OFFICIALLY completed! 🥂
