Today marks 10 years since I said “I do”, and I haven’t looked back once. A decade of marriage, two kind and loving kids (well… most of the time 😂), a beautiful home, and a life overflowing with love and support.

Marie, you’re the reason I push myself to keep growing — not just with my professional life and my photography hobby but in life as a whole. You’re my rock, my support system, and the one giving me a gentle kick when I start doubting myself. Even when I can’t see my own potential, you somehow always do.

So here’s to you, my beautiful wife. Today and always.
Here’s to the next 10 years and everything we’ll achieve together.

Well… that escalated quickly! 😳⛈️

A tiny but mighty microburst rolled in out of absolutely nowhere today — no warning, nothing on the radar. One minute it was calm, the next it was dumping heavy rain and small hail across parts of Ripley, White Rock and Springfield like it owned the place.

I had about two seconds to react, grabbed the camera, and bolted to the closest vantage point I could find without getting smashed by the hail. Somehow managed to snag this absolute ripper of a shot. 📸⚡

Mother Nature really said, “Hope you’re ready!” — and honestly, these surprise moments are why I love chasing these wild weather moments.

Caught this moody beast rolling through Willowbank last night, and honestly… what a vibe. 🌩️
Just me, the paddock, and a storm doing its best impression of a dramatic light show. Those rain shafts dropping out of the clouds looked unreal — like nature showing off just because it can.

Ipswich storms really know how to keep things interesting, and I’m definitely not complaining. 📸😄

Bang Bang Bang ‼️

What another epic lightning display. The bolts last night were flying in all different directions. They were so bright and clear they just lit up the night sky. This was taken at the top of White Rock in Ipswich.

What an absolute weapon of a light show last night’s storm put on ⚡️🌩️
The supercell that ripped through Logan before racing out to the coast dropped 8cm+ hail and lit up the sky with one of the craziest lightning displays I’ve seen in a long time.

With today shaping up to be another wild one for SEQ, it’s a good reminder to stay prepared and keep an eye on the weather. Mother Nature is not mucking around this week.

An absolute cracker of a thunderstorm rolled through while I was up at Cunningham Crest Lookout In Laidley. The whole sky was alive — constant lightning, deep rumbles of thunder, and that electric feeling in the air that only a big storm brings.

There’s something about moments like that — standing there with the camera, watching nature put on a show you’ll never forget.

Storm season’s only just kicking off, and if this one’s anything to go by, it’s going to be a wild ride.

After a weekend of storms here in the South East, it feels like the perfect moment to pause and take it all in — the raw beauty, the power, and the unpredictability of Mother Nature. 🌩️

There’s something incredible about standing beneath a sky alive with energy — the way lightning splits the horizon, the sound of thunder rolling across the landscape, and that electric calm that follows once it all passes.
