I’m excited to share that my photograph “School Boy” has been awarded 3rd place in the People & Nature category of the 2025 Oceania Photo Contest, hosted by The Nature Conservancy Australia!

Out of more than 3,500 submissions, I’m incredibly honoured that this moment, captured at Baia Lodge, featuring my cousin swimming peacefully among a vibrant school of yellowtail, was selected.

Grateful for the recognition, and even more grateful to be able to showcase the beauty of our waters and our people in Papua New Guinea.

No camera? No problem! Your mobile phone can become a great camera for your special day of you don't have a professional camera around. Of course you do need to get the right angles and lighting too.

PRO TIP: Utilise the portrait mode on your camera settings.

It was great to see my friend and his partner tie the knot this week in Malaysia! We captured these beautiful shots after their registration. I can't wait to get back into my portrait, family and event photography again in Kimbe!
