Patagonian Foxes.
I'm happy to announce that I received a Highly Commended Award for my Patagonian Foxes photo capture at the beginning of the year 2026.
For The Landscape Awards.
I loved the simplicity of this shot.
The Foxes nearly being the same colours of the grasses. And the blue colour of the glacial waters.

There were more than 2, 300 entries.
And over $4,600 raised for the Wilderness Society.
Thank you to the judges_ Matt Palmer, Petra Leary, Serena Ho, Steph Vella, Ignacio Palacios, and Anthony McKee.
The top 20 images in each of the four categories _ Landscape, Seascape, Aerial, and Urban are published in the June /July 2026 editions of 'Australian Photography ' Magazine

Thank you to the sponsors Western Digital, Guinea
House, EIZO and OM System.

Hydrangeas for Mother's Day...
Every petal in this photograph is a thank you to my Grandmothers, Mother, and all the other women who have nurtured and guided me along the way to the woman I am today.
To all the mothers past present and future this is for you.
There is no school to teach you how to be a mother.
Life is the teacher.

A little note on Hydrangeas what they symbolise _
, Sincerity, and unwavering love. "

Do you know what country they originally came from?

Ten years old birthday shoot last weekend.
There is a lot more that goes into a shoot than just turning up on the day.
You have to feel ready that all the preparations have been done.
Discussions about the look and feel the client wants.
What clothes, what props, and what backdrops to use.
Thank you rajani for organising and making all the preparations for the shoot on the day.
To make it work.

The theme for this year's Eart Day 22nd of April 2026 is Our Power, Our Planet.
Let's show some respect....
No bombing !
No destroying homes of people or plants or animals. It hurts my heart when I see what is happening today in our world.
I have seen some beautiful places that have been preserved through World Heritage & UNESCO
Places of significance.
Nature has rights, people animals and plants have rights to exist here.
It's not logical what they are doing in some places on our earth.
Would you destroy your own home?
Think about it before you respond.
The picture above was taken by

Whilst travelling in one of the beautiful places I mentioned. Patagonia.

Aurora's over Brisbane City
One thing that photography has taught me is that
nothing stays the same.
Everything is in a state of flux.
I woke up just before the sunrise and saw
this outside my window.
I checked my aurora aap, and it was showing an KP index of 4.7.
So I sprang into action, picking up my tripod
and camera to catch these colours before they were gone.
As soon as the Sun rose, they faded away.
There is always that split second of do I grab my camera or let this moment pass.
Did anyone see it, too?

This full moon in ♎️ Libra
focuses heavily on finding equilibrium between
your personal needs and your commitments to others.
Libra ruled by Venus , the Goddess of Love .
Relationships will come into the spotlight _
have you been over-giving to keep the peace?
With the Sun in Aries , you may feel a tug of war between your independence and accommodating others.
With Juipiter's influence during this full moon _ small issues may feel larger than life, leading to
" it's my way or no way," attitude.
So this will be a time to reset and focus on your
identity/ self versus the needs of partnership.

These photos were taken at moon set this morning in Brisbane. 100% gibbous.

Virgo ♍️ Blood Moon Eclipse 3_3_2026
Eclipses through history have pivoted battles
inspired global mythologies , and advanced our
understanding of the universe.
On May 29, 1453 a lunar eclipse over Constantinople was seen as a terrible omen by the defending Byzantines. The resulting drop in morale contributed to the city's fall of the Otterman Turks just days later, ending the Roman Empire.
Christopher Columbus used his knowledge of an upcoming eclipse to trick the indigenous Arawak people of Jamaica. He claimed God was angry and would "inflame" the moon, successfully frightening
the community into providing his crew with food and supplies.
Scientific advancements were made as well.
Aristotle watched the shadow of the earth move across the moon, and helped him to convince the Greek thinkers that the earth is a sphere.
This eclipse coincided with a rare planetary alignment.
We are standing at a pivotal point in history in the making.

I had a bit of trouble focusing the lens in the darkness.
Did you get to watch the eclipse last night?
And have you felt any shifts in energy for yourself?

A collection of tree photographs over the last few years. Enjoy 🌳 🍃

01/03/2026

Here is a small collection of tree photographs I've taken in the past few years of different trees in places where I have travelled.
Different conditions have bent them shaped them into what they are today.
Imperfections seem to make them even more beautiful. A life lived.
Some of them Ancient remants from Gondwana
Land when the land in the South was still connected. Some of these trees are thousands of years old.
