Mark Surman has worked as a professional fashion photographer, hair stylist and make-up artist for the past 30 years. During this time he has worked extensively throughout the world including Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan and Korea and speaks fluent Japanese and has a basic understanding of most other Asian languages. e past 20 years Mark has worked extensively with models and actors as well as shooting select weddings and commercial work including leading fashion magazines, numerous swimwear companies and major fashion labels from around the world. Mark is also fully trained and very experienced in make-up and hair styling and has extensive experience shooting on location and is available for work anywhere in the world. The photographic studio Mark owns in Brisbane has the very latest equipment and is able to handle any type of job required of him. Mark has extensive experience in shooting colour, black and white film and transparencies in all formats from 16mm to 8 x 10 inches. He is also fully trained in personally developing all the photographs he takes and has extensive dark room experience. He was and continues to be a leader in the photographic world at embracing computer technology in the industry and has been digitally retouching all his work with "Photoshop" since the early 1990's. Building and maintaining websites of all types is another service Mark offers. All work Mark shoots is provided to the client the following day fully re-touched with no exceptions. Mark guarantees all his work to be to the look and standard required by the client. He is very friendly, punctual, easy to talk to and easy to work with and is committed to providing the client with exactly what they are after.
