Welcome to 2026 💖

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted — life’s been busy. Between the crazy Christmas period at work and adventuring with my family, January flew by. Here are some of my favourite moments from the start of the year.

I also wanted to say — while this time of year is such a happy, exciting reset for a lot of people, it can bring up some heavy stuff too. It definitely does for me. If you’re just surviving rather than thriving right now, you’re not alone. I see you.🌻✨

This month has been full of change, growth, and learning to slow down and take care of myself while keeping family close. Sharing a few of my favourite photos that remind me why it’s all worth it 💜

I’m hoping to start settling in, get back into studying, and reconnect with my photography by the end of the month. Can’t wait to share more soon! ✨

Sorry I haven’t posted this week—it’s been a pretty full-on one and I haven’t had much time to shoot. I’ve also been working on protecting my space and looking after my mental health 🌿💛

I did manage to capture this shot on Sunday, though, and I hope you love it as much as I do ✨📸

Serenity Saturday 🌌✨
This week’s quiet moments came in different forms — the moon shining bright against the night sky, and sunlight perfectly highlighting flowers and moss tucked away in the brush.
It’s amazing how both day and night have their own way of reminding us to slow down and notice the beauty around us 🌿💕

Lots of photos for today’s Throwback Thursday 💕
16-year-old me was never without a camera (well… my phone 😂). I loved photographing my kitten Asha, the horses I worked with, and those magical beach sunrises. I also found so much joy in capturing the little moments — meeting a mama dog with her newborn pups, flowers glistening with raindrops, and of course, bees 🐝 (though I couldn’t track down a good one this time!).

Even back then, photography taught me to pause, slow down, and appreciate the little beauties in life ✨💖

If anyone would like me to share more, I can do a series diving deeper into each story — from the bees and flowers to the horses and of course my sweet Asha 🐾💕

Street & Scene Saturday 🏙️💖
A little mix of street views I’ve captured recently — each place its own adventure.

One night after finishing work late, I was completely mesmerised by the colours dancing across the building walls, and the way the whole city seemed to glow under the lights. 😍

On another day, a long walk led me to beautiful buildings and statues I just couldn’t pass without snapping a photo. 🥰

Brisbane has a way of surprising me, even in the smallest corners. ✨
