꩜ Hello! It’s me ~ Emily, or Em… depending on how endearing you’re feeling ❤️‍🔥

I thought it was time for a little updated “me” moment, because behind FamiliarHaze Photography is simply a weird little spiritual mumma of two, someone deeply shaped by motherhood, inner growth, and the quiet unfolding that life asks of us.

Photography didn’t begin as a business for me. It started as a need to hold onto what was changing faster than I could name. To honour connection and our relationships to one another. To witness people as they are. That’s still my why.

I’m here to create space where you can soften, arrive as yourself, and feel seen.

You’ll notice spirals weaving their way through my socials and this mini rebrand. They mean a lot to me, and this will likely make more sense in the coming weeks.

They are symbols of growth, evolution, life-force, womb energy, fertility, and expanding consciousness.

Nothing in life moves in straight lines.
We return, deepen, shed, and become.
Again and again.

That’s how I approach sessions, too. Gently guiding, allowing things to unfold, trusting what emerges rather than forcing it. Working with me isn’t about performing. It’s slow, intentional, and connected.

An experience first, photographs second. Because when you feel safe and present, the images carry something real. Something that lasts longer than the instagram like hype.
