One is red in the face, the other is palm reading... But both of them have no i-deer who is behind them.

New Horizons: playing with split shot photography, this dragonfly was the perfect model by letting me get really close to it. I had a lot of fun taking this photo especially because the focus lengths in two different mediums (air and water) are different.

The endemic Sri Lankan green pit viper (Trimeresurus trigonocephalus). Whereas the local name is 'pala polanga' in Sinhalese. This nocturnal snake is arboreal (living in trees) and rarely come to the ground.

Swipe: Do you see "eye to eye"? This is a Sri lankan paddy field frog (Minervarya greenii) and is endemic to wetland habitats within montane tropical moist forests of central Sri Lanka. This particular individual is interesting, as its right eye seems to be blind (or infected?) compared to its left.
