The running. The exploring. The endless energy. The moments where no one is looking at the camera and the kids are off doing their own thing.

So many parents arrive at their family session worried that their children won’t sit still long enough for “good photos”.

The first time we stood on this beach together, they were waiting to meet the little girl who would change their lives forever.

Now we’re back in the exact same place.

Only this time, that tiny baby is no longer safely tucked beneath Mum’s heart. She’s running beside them, full of personality, curiosity, and the kind of energy that keeps life beautifully chaotic.

And as they wait to welcome their second baby into the world, it’s impossible not to think about how much has changed since that first session.

The nervous anticipation of becoming parents has been replaced with confidence, experience, and a little hand reaching up to Mum and Dad, completely unaware that in just a short time, they’ll be stepping into a brand new role too.

From waiting for their first baby, to preparing for their second.
