CALLING ALL HAIR AND MAKEUP ARTISTS! ✨

I’ve been producing more and more projects for my clients over the past year or so, and although I have an incredible list of HMUAs to draw from, it’s getting hard to keep track of everyone’s details. I get talented artists reaching out to me every few days to connect, and I figured it’s time to make things official! I’m setting up a new database… just like the model list I did that has now received over 1000 entries from around the globe, and secured a pile of bookings on my clients shoots.

I don’t test much anymore, but this is also selfishly a list to help me remember all the talented people I’ve been planning to get creative with when the opportunity arrives 🥰

My clients span a wide range, some shoots demand an ultra premium crew, others are just getting started and need enthusiastic juniors, if you’re somewhere on that scale, I want you to add your details to the list. (Safe practices and flawless hygiene are obviously essential).

I want to know all your special skills and interests too! So next time I need a crazy lizard skin SFX finish, a sleek alien wet hair look, a drag glam specialist or a curl connoisseur, I’ll know exactly who to book.

An actual dream to shoot these for BREEZE BALM®️| Lip & Skincare

This shoot was unique because neither the client or I were able to travel to each other due to scheduling conflicts, so we made a plan to shoot these remotely (for them) in my studio.

I shot directly into an online gallery so the Breeze Balm team could watch from the comfort of their office in the next state over, and keep an eye on what we were shooting in real time. They get client full marks from me for having a well considered shot list ready in advance, and for being super responsive as we worked through it, confirming as we “got the shot”, and offering feedback on anything they’d like to change or try next.

It meant all both felt super confident we had nailed the brief, and successfully captured everything we needed. It was a flawless case study for any brands based interstate or overseas that want to shoot together, but can’t travel to be on set with me.

And most importantly, I am obsessed with how these turned out! The visual world Breeze Balm wanted was riiiiight up my alley, and the team and talent on set were top notch 💘

The resulting blind bag campaign went on to be a super viral launch, and I am just so thrilled that BREEZE BALM®️| Lip & Skincare took the risk on shooting remotely with me, so we could make this magic!

ANYTHING BUT BORING 💙💛

A very punchy and fun skincare campaign for Skincare for combo skin

For this project we used an ultra wide angle lens to capture some extremely playful angles, and hero the energy and spark of the brand

(Side note: I took home a pile of goodies after the shoot and became immediately obsessed. The serum and moisturiser are especially 10/10! Not sponsored, just impressed!)
