Bill an aspiring musician required some images for marketing purposes and his website, as he has been nominated for an australian music award for an original song.

I have been informed that he won the Big Award The Rudy Bansma Award for Songwriting Excellence. As a result of that he then had to perform it live and won the Best Live performance of the night as well.

It doesn’t get much better than that.

Maybe when he is rich and famous I can sell this image and make myself rich.

Last Thursday I attended what they call Retired Police Day, which is run by Police currently still serving. This is done at Local Area Command level.

It’s a nice day where they make a little fuss about retired police officers who choose to attend.

At today’s event I was presented with a retired police badge. It has no legal authority but it is greatly appreciated by myself.

It does fit in my wallet but I’ll keep it in the box.

I was originally attending the Awards night on the understanding that as a sponsor of this event, I was also given the honour of presenting a couple of the awards to some of the winners.

Only to find out that a couple of days before they had failed to secure a photographer for the night so I was happy to step in to that role as well.

Also Matt Alderton said he needed some good quality headshots, he assures me that this is his natural smile.

I love building relationships with new clients, here’s hoping for long lasting relationship. At the end of the day the client asked how I was going deliver the images and I suggested Google Drive link. The informed me that Microsoft does not use Google Drive but OneDrive, fortunately I do have an account with them.

This is Dayle and Rachel, they are both out here from Ireland having a working holiday and travelling around Australia.

Dayle contacted me first the purpose photographing when he proposed. It was planned for Sunday about 4.30pm, when Rachel sensed something was up, so he popped the question on Friday.

Despite the premature proposal which she said yes to they still both wanted to stage some photos for family and friends back at home in Ireland.

I also noticed when I met both on the Sunday Rachel was not wearing the ring as they wanted to make these images realistic as possible.
