A little profile refresh ✨ So, hello again!

I’m Murielle Sassine, photographer, author, presenter and professional confidence booster behind the camera. 📸

I’ve spent the past 27 years photographing incredible people, with a special passion for helping women look and feel amazing in front of the camera.

I have a BA in Visual Communication, specialising in Photography & Imaging, and I’m the creator and author of The Uplifting Project: A Celebration of Women, a book series celebrating women’s stories while helping to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer charities.

I’m also a bit of a chatterbox and LOVE a good conversation. Give me a coffee, a trip to the beach and great company and I’m happy! And yes, I’m absolutely that person who is always taking photos of everyone when we go out. 😂📸

These days you’ll also find me stepping out from behind the camera as a presenter and speaker, which I’m loving more and more.

27 years in and I still absolutely LOVE what I do. ❤️

“I don’t know how to pose…” ❤️

It’s one of the first things Cecilia said to me, and it’s something I hear from women all the time.

The “before” isn’t about confidence, it’s simply the moment before someone realises they’re far more photogenic than they ever believed. With a little guidance, patience, and trust, Cecilia saw herself in a completely different light. When she returned to view her photographs, she was blown away and couldn’t leave a single one behind.

For more than 27 years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing thousands of people.

Over the past few years, I’ve spent countless hours photographing women from every walk of life. CEOs, mums, business owners, grandmothers, authors, doctors, creatives and women who all said exactly the same thing before stepping in front of my camera…

“I hate having my photo taken.”

After photographing so many women, one thing became very clear.

Looking great in photographs has very little to do with being photogenic.

It’s about knowing a few simple techniques that completely change the way your body, face and confidence come across on camera.

That’s why I’ve decided to start sharing some of the posing secrets I teach every client during their session.

This is the first in a new educational series, and I hope these tips help you feel more confident the next time you’re in front of a camera.
