Posting a few updates about some shoots I did over the last month or so.
Of course there were some wonderful portrait clients and some fashion shoots - or should I describe them as "content creation".
More work on my collab with Ivana Dirlic for our Shadow Project, and making a stuck-together-style portfolio book.
Oh and a few paintings.

This month was spent shooting material for the designer Sarah-Jane (fashion).
Several shoots with the most wonderful models creating just the right branding to suit the vision of genius designer Sarah -Jane Miller. Our aesthetics are perfectly aligned and this collaboration will come to fruition with the opening of her new shop in Bondi (Roscoe street) mid-july. This shop will be a destination!

I find shooting men's portraits as interesting as women's although there is not usually the same amount of effort put into the styling, hair and make-up.The emphasis is a bit different in that the lighting is very different. What remains the same is the process of finding some way of presenting the person which is interesting and which reveals the intriguing side of their character. In this series where I show the different sides of Craig Davey it is fascinating to see the different aspects of his personality which appear with different lighting and styling.

It seems that marriage and weddings are still very much part of our culture despite the high divorce rate.
No matter how skeptical one may be . . .we have to admit that the celebration itself is a highlight in the life of the bride and sooo much organization goes into it.
Part of this ceremony is the letting go of the single woman searching for a mate and introducing the woman who wants to be sexy and seductive for her husband (to be).
This is the part I like, because the seductive bride to be is intimate, subtle and dressed to please (her husband).
To serve this niche desire on the behalf of the bride and potentially the husband I am creating the Bride & Bo***ir package. Its a photo shoot celebrating the seductive side of the bride to be .Its also a way of shooting the bride in her wedding ensemble and her new lingerie before the chaos of the wedding day. Shot at the home of the bride to be or at an appropriate location its a way to ensure that she is captured at her finest.
Package includes 4 hours shooting, 4 changes of wardrobe and up to 50 high res retouched images. Cost $750. I would also suggest that a coffee table book be made from the shots of this photo shoot. This would be at an extra cost, but worth it.
