When your wedding day ends, your photographer goes home with 4000+ RAW image files. It’s incredibly exciting, but the real work is just beginning.

If you have ever wondered why it takes up to 8 weeks to get that gallery link in your inbox, here is what is happening behind the screen:

1. Downloading & Backup. Your memories are irreplaceable. A huge part of the post-production timeline is safely exporting, organising and backing up your massive files across multiple physical drives so they are safe forever.

2. Hand - Crafted Colour Correction. Your photographer doesn’t just slap on a trendy filter and call it a day. Every single image is individually adjusted for white balance, exposure, contrast, and cropping. If the lighting changed when a cloud passed by during your ceremony, we match those frames by hand to ensure a cohesive gallery.

3. Distraction Removal. That bright green exit sign above your gorgeous cake cutting. That rubbish bin in the background of your bridal portraits. We meticulously clone out distracting elements so the focus is on you, whilst ensuring we still maintain the storytelling elements of your day.

We take our time because we care about your images - every. Single. One. Fast delivery is nice, but a beautiful, timeless gallery lasts forever.

Beautiful photographs begin with genuine connection.

While it's natural to want to look your best, the way you FEEL in front of the camera is even more important.

When you're comfortable, confident, and fully present, your photographs become more than beautiful—they become authentic memories you'll treasure forever.

So here are a few top tips!

1. Be present.
It's your wedding day - Be sure to savour EVERY little moment!

2. Use Movement
Small movements throughout your bridal portraits allow you to be more present in the moment and forget about the camera. Walking, spinning and joking with each other are all great ways to keep it fun!

3. Choose a photographer who prioritises authentic moments.
It is our job to put you at ease during your wedding day, and we want to help make the day as amazing as it could possibly be! So if that means fluffing your dress, cracking jokes, coming up with silly prompts to make you laugh, or lifting the energy in the bridal party - we are totally here for it!
