Grand Final Bound 🔵🏔️🦅

Congratulations to the A Grade side for winning the Major Semi at Parker Street Reserve in a physical affair. It was a rollercoaster of a game with plenty of tries, hit ups, send offs and sin bins. Lower Mountains JRLC triumphed in the end and it was a hard earned victory and a nice week off before the big dance.

Best seat in the house was little ol' me sitting at the in goal trying not to get hit in the head with the celebratory ball throw 😅

What a fantastic write-up in The Western Weekender celebrating our Western Sydney Alliance Under 15s!
A team brought together players from the Blue Mountains Kangaroos, Penrith Giants and Hawkesbury Saints. We have players that live up to 70km apart, who meet twice a week at Dukes oval, Emu Plains to train.
A wonderful recognition of the dedication shown by the players, coaches, team staff and families throughout the season. Three clubs, one team and an achievement we can all be incredibly proud of! 👏🏉

An epic win by the boys yesterday defeating the minor premiers to get a ticket straight into the Grand Final.

Western Sydney Alliance U15 squad action photos from the final game of the regular season. Undefeated all season these boys come away as the Minor Premiers for 2026. Thrilling game, there was a few minutes in the third quarter where I thought the Bombers would chase them down but they finished the game in style and capped off a strong year with a history making win. Well done boys, glad I was there to capture the action! Enjoy the shots and best of luck for the finals.

From Round 1 all the way through to Round 15, the Western Sydney Alliance U15 have shown exactly what happens when talented young footballers from different clubs come together as ONE TEAM.

And the numbers tell only part of the story.

These boys represent players from Penrith Giants, Blue Mountains Kangaroos/Mountain Lions and Hawkesbury Saints. From across Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, they came together, built something special and made the regular season their own.

There were big wins. There were tough battles. There was the incredible 55–55 draw against North Shore Swans. And when the pressure came, this team refused to surrender.

From the first bounce to the final siren, they kept turning up, kept fighting and kept believing.

Different clubs. Different backgrounds. ONE TEAM.

And now the real challenge begins…

There's something about footy in the rain that makes it higher stakes. Every pass and catch has the sideline holding their breath! A great game by the 13-2's through to the next round of finals. What a long way this team has come since the start of the year. Proud of these boys, go Eagles 🔵🦅

Our neighbours the Mountain Devils Junior Rugby League Club putting on an impressive display today for their elimination finals game. I’m told several of these boys play up an age group which is no mean feat in international rules footy. Well done Devils on the win today!
