You should know you’re usually seeing attempt number 7, 12 or 23 😆💁🏻‍♀️

We practice.
We tweak.
We refine.

I give you more direction as we go, and before long you’re creating images you never thought possible.

Nobody arrives knowing how to do an underwater photoshoot.

I don’t think the thing that makes me different as a photographer is my camera, my awards, or even the fact that I shoot underwater.

I think it’s how I see people 👀

I’ve spent over 20 years as a paediatric nurse, became a mum at 25, travelled the world, have an ADHD gifted brain, built a business from scratch, loved people deeply, lost parts of myself, and found them again.

All of those experiences have taught me that every person is carrying a story you can’t see from the surface.

Maybe that’s why I’m less interested in perfection and more interested in what’s underneath.

The woman who’s spent years putting everyone else first.

The woman learning to trust herself again.

The woman who doesn’t quite see her own beauty anymore (or ever has!).

The woman standing on the edge of a new chapter…
I see her.

And perhaps that’s why “See Yourself As Art” became more than a tagline for me.

It’s an invitation.
To see yourself through kinder eyes.

It’s something I don’t take on lightly, and I don’t think anyone will see you the way I do - it would be an absolute honour to photograph you ❤️ Jaz

I miss the old days of just posting photos you want to share with no agenda 💁🏻‍♀️

Looking back on old shoots with so much nostalgia! I love looking back because it makes me realise how much better my editing is now 😂😅 But also reminds me to be braver and have more audacity like I did then too🙌 I’d like to think I’m brave at every shoot- but this shoot my shutter was so slow I didn’t even know if any of them had turned out and I didn’t care (muse was my sister just fyi 😂😂😂 ).

Lightroom presets for underwater portrait photographers - let’s look at the pool presets 👀

were created in a whole stack of different coloured pools and lighting scenarios -so they don’t all look amazing in this pool colour, but it’s a great way to see the difference between them. I would normally tweak them slightly too but wanted you to see as close to one click as possible! They are my go to base for every underwater shoot I do!

Shoot in the ocean? I also have 7 unique ocean presets too! Literally just about every scenario covered!

So how do you know if an underwater shoot is for you?! 👀

You know I’d never try to talk someone into an underwater shoot. For the simple reason it’s not for everyone! It’s probably not the easiest option- let’s be honest it asks a tad more from you physically and emotionally (cause you will feel allll the things come up when you feel like you want everything to perfect and it doesn’t always “feel good”.

You know what I see though? The incredible humans drawn to this type of shoot are here for more, they aren’t settling for a boring life- they are here to LIVE (and they get rewarded).

They want something different to the norm, something artistic and creative.

If you are intrigued, curious, maybe even in awe? I love this saying-

Be led by joy- it is the whole point.

Brief: Maternity shoot that is art for the walls 🙌

There’s been a theme with my clients lately and it’s a huge push for why they have chosen an underwater shoot (compared to a “normal” maternity shoot)- it’s because they feel like they are more likely to want to put something like this on their walls!

I love simplistic, fine art maternity vibes- if you want something different to the norm to document this incredible stage in life - an underwater maternity shoot is it 👏🌿🙌

Why should you choose me to be your photographer?

SAFETY- After 21 years of being a nurse, safety and care is ingrained in everything I do. It’s at the forefront of every decision and how I shoot with clients physically AND emotionally. Because let’s be honest you are more scared of my camera than drowning but I have both covered (I get it, being photographed is scary AF!).

EXPERIENCE- 14 years being obsessed with taking flattering beautiful images you love. It’s my default. You don’t need to think about it -I’ll tell you everything you need to know for epic light and all the right angles in the water! I’ve done the time, and learnt from some of the best photographers in the world along the way🙌

I DONT SHOOT LIKE ANYONE ELSE- I don’t follow trends, I follow my heart. I fully trust my creative intuition and thrive on creating unique art at every shoot I do.

I HAVE RECEIPTS- Multiple repeat clients and beautiful Google reviews, won national and international photography awards, mentored other photographers around the world (which I absolutely love!).

ITS MY PASSION-

I love what I do and hand on my heart if you book me to photograph you- I go all in, I want these images to be the images you’ve ever seen of yourself.
