Comet Leonard (C/2021 A1) - my final shoot of 2021 - shot on New Year's Eve over the skies of Bowral. A spectacular way to end 2021 and usher in the new year.

Happy New Year!

Stumbled across a gorgeous patch of woodland forest on the way back from the south coast a few weeks back. With the way the light was falling on the tree trunks I was inspired to try some deliberate in camera motion. Took several goes of trial and error but I think this frame turned out pretty well.

The captivating shapes and form of the dunes in Worimi Conservation Lands are some of the most extensive dunes in NSW. This was my first trip there and it was challenging to find untouched compositions but the uniqueness of this landscape makes me want to go back and explore it some more!

Last week Sydney served up a series of epic sunrises! I was fortunate enough to be able to get down to the Harbour on Wednesday morning before an early commercial job and managed to capture this colour bomb.

Did you get to witness this sunrise?

Hakuba Valley at sunrise.

There’s something so special about being able to stop and watch the sunrise over a winter landscape. The silence, the crisp mountain air and the soft textures of the fallen snow make for a really wonderful moment to just stop and savor.

What’s your favourite winter landscape?

Swipe right to see the whole pano.

Lots of rain means waterfalls in flow! Managed to duck out to this lovely falls in suburban Sydney last Friday. I missed the peak of the flow after the heavy rains, but it was still in really good flow.
