Photographers - do you look back on some of your work in the beginning and cringe?
I think that’s a good thing - because that means you can see what you didn’t back then.
I’m a person who can ‘get over’ things quickly, I never have with photography. I think it’s because it’s something that has so many elements that it’s always interesting to me.
But I look back at the beginning and see how far I’ve come.
And remember I charged less back then!

Managed to scrape in a family shoot at this lovely autumn spot before all the leaves are gone. Great to see this sweet family after shooting Beau and Kristie’s wedding back in 2020.

I’ve had lots of clients over the years ask me if I still have their images because they never downloaded or lost the USB.
A reminder that once images are handed over they’re your responsibility to keep them safe.
The common denominator when clients are contacting me is because they’ve lost a loved one and are searching for photos of them. They’ve contacted me in a panic asking if I have them.
When people pass away it’s when you realise how priceless your images are so please make copies.
And even better - PRINT!

A little glimpse into Karla and Brayden’s beautiful wedding day. From the most stunning property in Matcham where the girls got ready, to their EV Church which was filled with their family and friends, and celebrating over at Wagstaffe Hall where Karla’s Mum and Dad had their wedding. Wagstaffe Hall was also where I photographed my very first wedding for a friend in film days.
Congratulations Karla and Brayden - it was an absolute delight to be with you and your lovely family and friends on your wedding day.
