Final volunteering day finished early as I wasn't feeling the best, but I still got to check out Hockey, Soccer, Water Polo and Swimming.

Day 2 volunteering at the UniSport Nationals and we had Fencing, Judo and Kendo. So it was a day full of fighting but all were very different and a lot of fun. Here are some of my favourites from the day.

Spent the day doing something different, Sports Photography. I volunteered for 3 days at the UniSport Nationals being held here in Perth, with today being Beach Volleyball, Table Tennis and Taekwondo poomsae (patterns).
Something totally outside my normal comfort zone but I had fun and here are some of the shots. Hope you enjoy.

The City of Melville put on a nice display down at the South of Perth Yacht club so Caitlin and I wandered around for a quick look.

Another Saturday with a bit of spare time, so I did some more experimenting with my new Pluto Trigger and valve. Red dye this time and a bit more gelatine, but still want a bit more elasticity. Not a bad hour or two's fun and fairly happy with the results. Here are 6 of the 400 shots :).

Well, it was my birthday a couple of weeks ago and my lovely family bought me a Pluto Trigger and Valve so I could have a bash at droplet photography. After a delay due to them selling out due to their popularity, they finally arrived yesterday. With today being a public holiday I proceeded to sit down and have a bash. So here are my first results :)

Camera Electronic & Rockingham Photography Club - Public arranged a photo shoot at Penguin Island with Darran Leal. With a start time of 6:30am , it was a very early start to a Sunday morning, but it was well worth getting out of bed and taking an hours drive to get there. Unfortunately there were no penguins to be seen, apparently they were either out fishing or huddled up in their homes, but there was an abundance of pelicans and other bird life, plus some lovely views. Here are some of my favourite shots from this morning.

Kinetic runs a bit of a lottery each year to decide which employees can bring their families up to watch the Skyshow. We were lucky enough to get a spot this year and scored the 11th floor with its balcony. It's a pity Elizabeth Quay is still under construction but it was a great view and a fantastic evening. Here are some of the shots I took.
