This morning in yoga, something seemingly simple broke me open.

Sometimes I black out, and today there was a lot of this going on, I had to be slow and mindful, drop any comparison to what others were doing, soften any ego about what I should look like and give myself space to keep coming back to myself and what was enough for me today.

Lying on my stomach, the teacher placed a towel over my feet and applied steady, grounded pressure.
In that moment, my body stopped holding the vertical vigilance I’ve carried for years without really noticing.

With the pressure and connection anchoring me, grief rose, not as a story, not as memory, but through the fascia itself - a release that bypassed my mind entirely. Tears rolling down my face, I surrendered - no story, just simply letting go.

This is what my body knows:
when the ground is felt, my holding patterns can finally soften. When vigilance is released, truth moves.

Sometimes the deepest healing is simply allowing the exhale I have been postponing.

Presence. Acceptance. Breath.
Allow my body to lead.

Their presence had such a beautiful quality and I have no doubt their parents are tremendously proud of the young adults they are turning into

The amazing Kelly Hartland has facilitated 8 Cartel Bendigo volumes that feature local creative artists contributions. It is exceptional the talent we have.

It’s been a pretty full on year both physically and mentally so it was lovely just to capture some images just for me and actually submit!

The 8 volumes are available to view at the Bendigo Library but I think today may be the last day!
