Someone asked me the other day, why I chose lifestyle photography over posed "baby in the basket" photography..

And I'll be honest - I am definitely not talented enough to position babies in a basket, let alone have the attention span to sit there for hours doing it.

I prefer lifestyle as its natural, it captures what's happening right there and then and to me, if gives a more true image of their little one.

And that's no dig at photographers or parents that prefer the more posed images - I just like the natural side of life!

The birth that had me feeling it most!

Most mummas are vocal to some degree.. I mean, hell! They're birthing a human for christs sake - but this girl wasn't afraid of doing what she had to do, with noise included!

This baby was coming hard and fast, and wasn't willing to let mumma have too much a break in between. Herself, her extremely supportive hubby and her birthing team were all incredible in allowing her to be herself. To let her scream, groan and swear when she felt the need to.

Her OB-GYN was absolutely incredible! He let her do her thing, but was also quite persuasive in getting her to do what he needed her to do! They way he coached her to push when she didnt want to, and then grabbed her phone to take photos after bubs was born - Ive never seen that attentiveness before!

He was a bloody super star! And so was Bianca!!
