A beautiful morning spent at home with Amy, Pete and her three little loves, celebrating beautiful Eilish joining their crew!
This is my third time capturing this family, each time with a new little newborn in their arms, which feels pretty special. And it always makes me smile seeing photos from those earlier days hanging on their walls.
Home sessions really are the best. They can be a little chaotic, bribery comes into play, someone else has had enough, but that’s kind of the whole point. These are the moments I think we’ll want to go back to when we’re old.
The little people running around the house. The cuddles. The noise. The mess. The tiny newborn tucked into your chest. The days that felt so bloody hard when you were right in the thick of them, but somehow your heart was so full at the same time.
I think by the time you get to baby number three (or any consecutive baby really 😂), you learn to roll with it a little more. You know the hard bits will pass, even when they’re really hard, and you know just how quickly these little stages disappear.
One day I’m sure we’ll look back at photos like these and think, gosh, those days were tough, but weren’t they the best!! 🤍
