On Thursday I had the privilege of attending the Ballarat Small Business Expo. I met some beautiful humans who are doing what they love. It was so inspiring to see the creativity, passion and determination they all have to bring their gifts to the world. These events are free so if you ever come across one, do yourself a favour and go along, you won’t be disappointed.

Yesterday I was honoured to spend the afternoon with a beautiful group of women leaders, who are providing services that are much needed in this community. I felt honoured to be among you all as we collaborated and exchanged stories. Thank you Linda for organising a fantastic afternoon, I’m looking forward to the next event.

There’s a kind of courage that doesn’t look like bravery from the outside.

It looks like a woman standing in her own garden, in the sunshine, saying yes to herself after a season of change.

That’s Bronwyn.

She didn’t want a studio or a set. She wanted her sanctuary, the place where she feels most like herself. And she wanted to see herself the way others see her.

“I love that you captured that in photos... I love the sunshine on my face. I love the trees surrounding me.”

So we slowed down. We connected. And what we made together? Pure magic.

After everything life had asked of her, she gave herself this. And she deserved every single moment of it.
