🌨️✨ Against All Odds: Teagan & Ryan's Magical Winter Wedding ✨🌨️

When Teagan and Ryan approached me to capture their elopement at Cradle Mountain in July, I must admit,
I thought they were a bit crazy! July is one of our coldest months, and the elements can be unpredictable. But the couple was determined to keep their special day a secret.

Little did I know, I was about to witness one of the largest snowfalls in years! ❄️ Just as we were ready to head up the mountain, roads were closed, and our talented makeup artist had to cancel. Our beautiful bride was distraught, facing the day without her hair and makeup done.

But, together with the celebrant, we made it up the mountain against all odds. Janelle Marry Me Tasmania - Janelle Wilson Civil Marriage Celebrant worked her magic on Teagan’s hair, while I stepped in to do her makeup and photograph the whole event in a breathtaking winter wonderland that felt like Europe! 🇪🇺

As the snow fell around us, Teagan's spirits lifted, and we went ahead with the wedding. What was meant to be a secret quickly caught the attention of social media, and before we knew it, the couple was going viral across Australia! 📸✨ Even my family in Queensland spotted them on TV!

This amazing day taught me a powerful lesson: sometimes, life throws challenges our way, but it's important to live in the moment and never give up. Life is short, and love conquers all! ❤️

Cheers to Teagan and Ryan for embracing the unexpected and creating memories that will last a lifetime! 🥂

There’s something about snow that I can’t get enough of, not just the touch but the way it transforms the whole landscape into a quiet, slow world. Mornings feel softer, the light is different, and even our devices seem to take a little break. I love celebrating every season here in Tasmania, and winter with its snow this is one of my favourite times.
