Loren Vanzella Photography & Digital Marketing

Loren Vanzella Photography & Digital Marketing Photography & Digital Design One moment, frozen in time. With image manipulation and editing I attempt to move those moments ahead in time. To move them forward.

From a young age perceiving an image, though a camera lens, in a world of constant movement & change remains my way of capturing a subjects structure, growth, beauty or decay at that precise moment. The camera gives me clarity, detail and better resolution than my natural vision can and when editing, I find more meaning & depth in my images. As an artist focused on photography, I am still attempti

ng to reveal nature and common place things in a different clarity. It becomes another way of seeing

My image “Campbell The Swaggie” was awarded 2nd Place in the SHINE Category at the annual Wollundry Rotary Photo Competition in Wagga Wagga last night.

The SHINE category is a dedicated section focused on “Celebrating Older People”, making this recognition especially meaningful.

A big thank you to the Wollundry Rotary Club, the sponsors, judges, and organisers for a wonderful evening. With over 700 entries from across Australia, the quality and diversity of the work on display was truly outstanding, and I am humbled to have been recognised amongst such talented photographers.

𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲:
Campbell the Swaggie has lived in almost every part of Australia since the 1970s. He travels the country attending music and folk festivals, where his performances blend Australian bush poems with chronicles of his own life. Through stories of mateship, multiculturalism, and the characters he has met along the way, Campbell continues to keep alive the traditions of the bush poet and swagman.

On a winter's day like today, I can't imagine how the pioneers of the High Country survived without the creature comforts we take for granted. Facing freezing temperatures, harsh weather, and an unforgiving landscape, they relied on resilience, determination, and hard work to endure. Their stories are a reminder of just how tough life in the High Country once was.

Yesterday I was out photographing huts and brumbies in the high country, and today I opened my inbox to discover I’ve received not one, but four photographic awards from my entries in the Australian Photography Magazine. 3 in the landscape and 1 in the urban category.

A huge thank you to the sponsors and to everyone who continues to support my work — it truly means the world. 📸✨
