Anna and James were married this afternoon before their closest family at Guerilla Bay. Mother nature put on her best weather for them and allowed their love to shine the brightest.

Thankyou for allowing me to be a part of your special day.

12 months ago today the Currowan Bushfire started. The last 12 months have been trying on us all. There has been laughter and there has been tears from many of us over the last year.

A lot of us are still recovering from the events of the year and this will take time but we will get there. The next few months will probably get worse before they get better.

Sending love to everyone.

Today I’m spending the day sharing the good in our community with Village Centre & Bridge Plaza and The Mane Collective.

I have spent a lot of time over the past few months helping my husband with his business. The one thing which has struck me time and time again is the strength and resilience of Mother Nature. She shows us with every tree and every plant that is growing back, that no matter how bad our scars are and no matter how much we are hurting we can and we will regrow. Some of us will recover slower than others and some of us will need a little bit more help but we will get there. We will move forward and we will be stronger for what we have been through.

Get on board with these guys and their Financial Year Calendar. Let’s hope that by doing a financial year calendar they can break the bad luck that 2020 has served us so far.

I loved working with the NSW RFS - Long Beach Brigade to take the photos for their Financial Year Calender. It was definitely a morning I will not forget.

Thankyou to those people who have been messaging us and having us in their thoughts during this bushfire crisis. Catalina, as well as many other areas of the coast were badly affected by the fires. We decided to stay and defend our home and are glad to say we achieved this. We were some of the lucky ones.

Another catastrophic day is forecast for Saturday so we are now preparing ourselves for this.

We still do not have electricity and have limited phone coverage but we will keep everyone informed of any major developments as they occur.

Thankyou again for your thoughts and prayers.
