While cleaning out and rearranging the garage recently, I came across an old tin filled with photos.
This little photo caught my eye.
At the time it was just an ordinary moment. A little girl standing in the backyard.
But now, it reminds me of the house, the garden and memories I had almost forgotten.
It also reminded me why I love photography.
The photos we take today might feel ordinary right now, but years from now they may become some of our most treasured possessions.
And for those who are new here, the second photo is me, usually behind the camera.
