Privacy was a big part of why Ashleigh chose to book her maternity session at my property.

A quiet, private space where she could feel comfortable, take her time and simply enjoy this beautiful stage of pregnancy, without feeling like there were people around watching.

We wandered through my property, found little pockets of light and captured the quiet moments in between.

Maternity sessions don’t have to feel posed or rushed. Sometimes the most beautiful images come when you’re simply comfortable enough to be yourself.

A little bit of privacy. A little bit of nature. And memories of this incredible season before everything changes.

Some of the sweetest smiles are the ones you have to wait for.

Marliyah was so shy during her session. And that’s completely okay.

There’s no pressure here to perform, pose or smile on cue. We take our time, follow their lead, have a little play and let them warm up in their own way.

And then… we can get the most beautiful of images from those in-between moments.

The quiet playing, the tiny smiles and the personalities that slowly start to shine through, this is what I love capturing.

Because your child doesn’t need to be confident in front of the camera. They just need to be themselves.

Relaxed. Natural. No pressure. Just memories that feel like them.

I am a mum who knows what it’s like to always be behind the camera and have a photo roll full of everyone else.

I’m drawn to the real stuff, the cuddles that never last long enough, the chaos, the quiet, the in-between moments.
