Sometimes toddlers show up and they just aren't interested in being photographed. It feels like you aren't going to get one good photo, but your photographer just keeps calm and keeps trying different things & your pulling out every trick in the parenting know how book.

When it feels like the whole session is a melt down, but then you see your gallery and it's magic 💖 Maybe not the kind of magic you had in your head when you arrived, but the kind of magic that toddlers bring to the world. Chaotic & in their own time 😆

So glad we still got beautiful photos for this gorgeous family, even though it felt like meltdown mayhem at the time.

What's it like being photographed by me in our studio?

Well, I think this sums it up pretty well. It's chilled & it's fun! We get to hang out and you get to dress up in pretty clothes 💖 I take lots of pretty photos and we make memories that will last a lifetime!

I'm there with you every step of the way. Guiding you into the best poses that I know will be flattering and beautiful. Nothing is forced, we just let it flow. And if I happen to find out something like you are an amazing dancer, then we certainly have to add movement into the shots! This is your story and I'm here to capture it in a relaxed and beautiful way 💖

Oh and did I mention... I have all the beautiful dresses right here, so you needed worry about what to wear! You can use our client closet for maternity, newborn & even outdoor sessions.

Get set for Magic!!! Christmas minis are now booking ❤️🎄

This year I have three beautiful sets that I think you and the kids are going to love. I started designing one of our sets and then realised just why it was feeling so special to me. Read on to find out why!

See, Christmas was very special to me when I was little, like so many of us. It was full of magic and wonder. It was more the things we did before Christmas that created the magical feel to it.🎄

Christmas Day was usually a fairly quiet day for our family as we had spent the last months being super busy with our families shop. It was a huge sprawling shop that people drove hours to come to, especially at Christmas time. It was full of so many treasures!

It was not unlike some of the shops in Sovereign Hill in it's old world feel. Like Clarke's brothers or the Drapery, we had a huge (& it really felt huge when I was little), old wooden counter & an old cash register. We wrapped all the presents in red tissue paper. It had such a special feel to it, especially around Christmas time.

So when starting to dream up this new set, I didn't realise how much it resonated with me until I was fully immersed in preparations. It's a little Christmas store! I think it's going to be such a fun, interactive little set that I hope the kids are going to love! And, I think it's going to make for magical photos too.

We will also be having Elf on the Shelf back this year & Our magical bed scene from a few years ago, which I just adored and know a lot of you did too.

Plus one other totally new setup which is Santa's Mail sorting room, with quite a magnificent backdrop. I'm looking forward to creating an amazing interactive space for this one too.

We will also be having back our family photo option, as this was so popular ❤️ Look out for the add on option for this! Plus as always I will offering a beautiful set of prints you can add on as a family keepsake.

Christmas sets for 2026!!!!!

Our beautiful bedroom scene is coming back this year!

New set…. Magical Christmas shop experience ❤️ this one harks back to my own childhood helping out in our beautiful shop. It had a huge wooden counter & is reminiscent of the shops at Sovereign hill. I’m hoping to create a beautiful nostalgic experience that is interactive for the kids.

New set 2 is Santa’s letter sorting room ❤️
A beautiful backdrop that will set the scene for the mail room ✨ of course it will have a vintage old world vibe to it.

Elf on the shelf will be back this year!! Marshmallow toasting & other shenanigans will follow 😆

Santa will also be making an appearance ❤️❤️
