A beautiful photograph doesn't just happen. There's a whole lot happening behind the scenes! 📸

From planning the shoot and setting up the lighting to guiding our subject and finding the right angle, every detail matters.

At Sunflower Imaging Photo Studio, Ballarat we don't simply point a camera and press the shutter. We observe, communicate and make thoughtful adjustments to bring out the best in every person we photograph.

Sometimes it's a little direction, sometimes it's a change in lighting, and sometimes it's knowing when to step back and let a genuine moment unfold.

And that's the beauty of what we do — combining technical expertise with creativity and human connection to create photographs that mean something.

🌻 You're seeing the final image. We're seeing everything it took to create it.

One year of love, laughter and beautiful memories. ❤️🌅

Happy first wedding anniversary to this gorgeous couple! We loved capturing their special day, and there’s something truly magical about a sunset that makes a photograph feel even more romantic.

Looking for wedding photographers who captures both the real moments and the beautiful details with a dash of creativity? We’d love to hear your story.

We work with couples who value the in-between moments as much as the big ones. What is important to us, is the connection that we make with you when we meet.Who want portraits that are personal, poetic, and a little bit unexpected.

The Ballarat Rock ’N’ Roll Festival consisting of Kirsty, Malcolm and Sharon is about so much more than the music and dancing. It’s about the people behind the name — the organisers, volunteers, musicians, dancers and passionate locals who put their time and energy into making it happen.

We had the pleasure of photographing some of the wonderful people behind the Ballarat Rock ’N’ Roll Festival, hearing their stories and capturing the personalities that make this event what it is. They were the driving force behind the festival and ensuring that they deliver a three day festival that attracts many visitors to Ballarat. Their events bring people together across generations, backgrounds and abilities creating a sense of belonging and shared enjoyment.

Please support them and their activities to raise funds for this festival. Please find the details on their FB page.

Because behind every festival, there are people who care enough to make it happen. ❤️

It was a privilege to meet them, photograph them and help tell a little of their story.
