The page has been quiet for a long time. We have struggled with little rain fall on the granite belt since late last year which for us means die back like I have not seen for nearly a decade.
On a walk in the Girraween NP this weekend Ella and I managed to find a boronia bush with just one flower.
This was a patch of Boronia amabilis that has been thriving since being completely burnt out after the 2019 fires.
The new crop has now been decimated by little rain fall and flag rock underneath which has caused huge die back.
Mother Nature is quite unforgiving at times.
