Enzo came into the studio on this cold and wintery day for his hot air balloon themed cake smash!

We included some family photos at the start of the session, and then let him get stuck into the cake. He was super cute and a little bit curious but absolutely loved the inside of the cake once we cracked it open!! Bath time was a fave too, with big sister Alirah getting into the hot air balloon at the end of the session. Swipe through to see their gorgeous photo!! My heart! 🤍

Hunter came into the studio today for the CUTEST Hungry Caterpillar cake smash and I honestly can’t believe how much he has grown since his newborn session 🥹

Watching your babies come back for their first birthday sessions is one of my favourite parts of this job. One minute they’re tiny sleepy newborns curled up on my beanbag, and the next they’re full of personality, cheeky smiles and absolutely demolishing cake 🎂🐛💚

Hunter was such a little sweetheart and loved the cake once we cracked it open and he realised there was super yumminess inside! The smiles, the mess, the giggles and claps were absolutely worth it.

Then came the splash session, which by the end of it, I'm sure there was more water on the studio floor than there was left in the bath!
These sessions are always such a fun way to celebrate that huge first birthday milestone and Hunter certainly made sure we all had a laugh along the way 🤍

Sweet baby Isabella came in yesterday for her newborn session with gorgeous big bro Arlo, who I photographed 18 months ago!
It was so great seeing all of these guys again, this time with their newest edition, baby Isabella! It's never lost on me when families come back to me again to capture more precious memories for them!! So special!! 🥹

Isabella was a dream for her session, needing a few feeds but allowing me to pose her in all of our props and poses we had out! She was a total sweetheart!! 🤍

Sweet little Victoria was an absolute dream in the studio today for her newborn session 💕
She rocked the first half, snoozing away and giving us all those beautiful curled up poses that everyone loves. She was far less interested in being posed naked or on her tummy, but she settled just enough to give us some gorgeous photos! Sometimes it just takes a little extra patience, cuddles and perseverance to get the magic!!

One of the highlights of this session was seeing Victoria dressed in the most gorgeous vintage knitted outfit made by her great grandmother 🤍 The meaning behind pieces like that makes these photos even more priceless. And to top it all off, we also captured some incredibly special images of three generations of women together... nan, mum and baby girl. We all had tears in our eyes!! 🥹

Some days you’re absolutely on fire 🔥

You’ve packed the lunches, replied to the emails, grown an entire human, kept tiny people alive, found the missing drink bottle, AND remembered to defrost dinner. You walk past a mirror and think, “Honestly? I’m basically a rock star! 🤘🏻

And then there are the other days…

The toddler asks for toast for the 47th time, the baby has been attached to you since 3am, you’ve w**d three times in an hour because pregnancy is magical, and putting on actual pants feels like an extreme sport that deserves Olympic recognition. Like, if leggings aren’t acceptable formal wear at this point, I don’t wanna participate 😂

Motherhood, pregnancy, parenting tiny humans… it’s all chaos and comedy rolled into one. Some days we’re the rockstar. Some days the sensory overload of a waistband is enough to send us over the edge. BOTH are valid. BOTH are motherhood. And honestly, if you managed to leave the house today wearing anything other than yesterday’s oversized tee, I’m proud of you 🫶🏼

F I N N E G A N - 8 D A Y S

Remember the waterfall maternity session from earlier last month? Well Finnegan is the little bub that was the star of that show, finally earthside and in my studio at just 8 days old!!

He was so adorable and loved being wrapped up and snuggled, which of course I was happy to do! He wasn't too keen on the naked shots, but let me tell you, he still rocked every pose and set up we had for him. But my absolute fave were the family and sibling shots with big brother Chester (who I also photographed as a newborn). They were as cute as pie, and watching Chester doting over his little brother and showering him with lot's of kisses was ADORABLE!!

Watching families grow over the years is one of the most special parts of this job, and sweet little Remi and Jax are no exception.
We've celebrated cake smashes and newborn sessions together, so being part of another huge milestone for their family was such an honour. This time, we celebrated in the most fun way possible… with a gender reveal CAKE SMASH!!

The excitement in the studio was next level as they dug into the cake, smashed it to pieces, giggled their little hearts out and made the most glorious mess. There was cake everywhere, lot's of laughs, and the kind of chaos that makes the best memories!

And now that the secret is officially out and they’ve shared the news with family and friends, I can finally say it too… THEY’RE GETTING A BABY SISTER!!! 💕

I already know these two are going to absolutely adore their new little best friend, and I honestly cannot wait to capture this next chapter for their beautiful family. Being trusted to document these moments, from babies, to birthdays, to growing families is something I never take for granted 🤍

Looking forward to October guys!!
