I missed out last year but I finally got out and captured the milkyway center. It was an absolutely freezing night and my camera was covered in dew in the morning good thing the Canon 5D cameras are indestructible.

I've been a bit slow at posting but I'm still capturing images daily. I'm working on some projects just waiting for the right time to do them :)

A few days ago on my way back home from Ballarat I saw a plane fly perfectly aligned with the moon. I knew I'd have to capture it. I got home around 6:30am and I didn't go inside until 8am, I was running around trying to frame the planes up with the moon then I finally got this image. During the downtime between planes I captured images of some kangaroos and birds

Last night I was finally able to capture a total lunar eclipse. Last time I captured one I was 14 and just starting photography so it wasn't very good.
