A little business update from me š¤
If youāve been around here for a while, youād know Iāve basically run this business through Instagram and Facebook messages for yearsā¦ and truthfully, itās gotten a little chaotic š«
Between enquiries, bookings, prep chats, outfit questions and trying to reply at all hours, Iāve realised something had to give.
This year Iāve really been trying to work on balance. Not just working more, but working in a way that feels healthier, more organised and better for both me and my clients.
So Iām starting to move Bo***ir by Aleisha Jean bookings across to direct booking links, website enquiries and emails instead of relying so heavily on social media messages.
It means:
- less missed messages
- easier booking
- clearer communication
- and a much smoother experience overall
But I also want to say this because itās important to me ā just because the booking process is changing doesnāt mean the experience is š¤
Iām still going to be there for the nervous messages, the āI have no idea what to wearā chats, helping you prepare, hyping you up and making sure you feel comfortable the entire way through.
Bo***ir sessions are such a vulnerable and personal experience, and creating a space where women feel safe, confident and genuinely looked after will always matter most to me.
I donāt know if Iāll ever fully have this whole business thing figured out, but I do know the way Iāve been doing things lately hasnāt been sustainable for me or fair on my clients either.
