One week ago today we were witnessing the birth of Tobias. On a previous post I shared my friends story of her difficult pregnancy, it was so hard watching my friend grieve for her son that wasn’t even born yet. The moment Toby was out, there was so much peace, so much love, the whole room filled with tears of joy, something I will never forget. Here is a glimpse into the incredible birth. What an amazing experience and I feel so blessed to be able to photograph this journey for my dear friend. Tobias is now 7 days old, and is the most beautiful little boy! We’re not sure how long we will have with him, but his parents are an inspiration! So much selflessness endured for their son. Thank you God for this precious gift of life. @ Wollongong Hospital Antenatal Clinic

In my previous post, I shared the news of my third pregnancy with you all. Along with all the excitement of who my next little person will be, there’s also been a lot of guilt, confusion and Grief which has made this a really challenging time. My best friend also is expecting a child and didn’t get the news she was hoping for at the 20 week scan. Her little man was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). A rare congenital heart defect in which the left side of the heart is severely underdeveloped. And regardless of this diagnosis my dear friends are allowing their son to live out his precious life. Which brings us here. 38 weeks with little Toby arriving any day now. I have my phone with me every second as I have the privilege to witness and photograph this incredibly hard time in my friends life. I am nervous of what’s to come but so blessed to be one of the few that get to meet little Tobias. Having to watch my best friend go through the hardest time in her life has been absolutely heartbreaking.... but knowing that her only hope is in Jesus and that one day there will be no more tears, no more suffering and Tobias will be safe in eternity with our Heavenly Father gives me peace. Some of you may already be aware that I am halfway through my pregnancy with another baby girl, we feel so incredibly blessed to have another child join the fam in October! Thank you to all the wonderful people who have patiently waited for there photos while I’ve tried to navigate morning sickness and the business of life with two crazy kiddos! Can’t thank you enough. Being a full time mum while still getting to do my passion is seriously amazing, sometimes I wish I had more time to do more but I have to accept this is the season I am in and just enjoy my Little ones as much as I can. I love getting to know your families and taking photographs that you can cherish and hope to continue to do so until physically impossible 😂 ###x
