Have you ever seen big billowy clouds scattered in the sky and thought "the sunset tonight is going to be amazing?" This is what happened today - I raced down to Woodman's Point to capture some beautiful shots of the sunset, but was also surprised by a peeping moon. My real intention was to get some fantastic photos of pelicans on the jetty, but they were no where to be found. Unthinkably, there was a tragedy that occurred in the car park here this week with people's marks of respect laid out at the site.

It's easy to see why the Black Swan was the chosen animal to represent Western Australia. Prolific around our state's lakes and rivers, moreso in Perth, they certainly carry an elegant stature.
