My name is Cameron Fowles (but everyone calls me Cam) and I'm based on the north side of Brisbane in beautiful Queensland. I'm passionate about quality photography and in the short time I've been photographing seriously I've received some great accolades from photography groups and even competed in a few amateur competitions. I've been involved with motorsport for many years so I still find the ti

me to attend motorsport events and car shows whenever I can. The difference is that now I photograph them instead of organising them. A last minute decision to head out to Joe's Diner Eagle Farm for Truck Night was so worth it. Any excuse for a ride out to grab a feed at Joes.

Not a huge turnout but some incredible rigs were out. Please tag anyone you recognise as I'm not familiar with everyone yet.

First time shooting a rally night stage at the Brisbane Sporting Car Club Classic QLD Rally yesterday and it was HARD. Totally pitch black - the darkest night I can remember and more stars visible than I've ever seen.

Congratulations to all of the drivers - everyone's a winner at these events.

Just in time for lunch and the rains came down - and it pelted down at the Sunshine Coast Motor Sport Club Inc. sprints.
Most sensible drivers (and photographers) would duck for cover but if the drivers can get out there, so can I. And I'm so glad I did - even though it's surprisingly difficult to balance an umbrella and a long lens at the same time.

I'm getting closer to having the high-res gallery uploaded so keep an eye on the site and please keep tagging anyone you know.

Thanks again to all the volunteers who also stood out in the rain to keep the event running smoothly and safely regardless of the weather. I love doing this and wouldn't have the opportunity without you all.
