Prints available worldwide. I'm a photographer & filmmaker currently filming for Rainforest Rescue in the Daintree Rainforest. I love music & nature & it's my passion to capture these amazing moments in our lives which can be kept for eternity. I aim to showcase the beauty of nature to inspire others to help be the guardians for our mother earth. I love adventure whether it is exploring forests wi

th my camera or flying over the ocean filming epic rugged coastlines with my drone. My work has taken me from one of the most biodiverse and oldest surviving rainforests in the world (The Daintree Rainforest) to some of the most carbon-dense forests (Central Highlands, Victoria) in the world with the Tallest Flowering Trees in the world (Mountain Ash) then to remote villages in Nepal where we filmed the Sustainable Action for Nepal Documentary. My images are available as fine art prints all around the world from my website https://www.martinstringer.com/

Please contact me so we can connect. I would love to hear from you.

Excited to be heading to AIDC 2026 next week as part of the Leading Lights program.

I’ll be taking two projects into conversations across the conference.

Koroitj / Tower Hill has recently received a Creative Change Grant from Moyne Shire, supporting collaboration with Indigenous artists Brett Clarke and Yaraan Couzens Bundle.

I’ll also be continuing development conversations around Seeing the Rainforest for the Trees, focused on rainforest and wetland restoration beside the Daintree River.

Grateful for the support behind these projects and looking forward to the week ahead.

If you’re in Melbourne for AIDC, say hello.

This is the BIG one!

A thriving wetland forest on the Daintree River’s edge is within reach.

Lot 3 is ready to return to Nature 💚🌿.

This land has done its part for decades. Now, with your help, it can become a refuge for wildlife, a buffer for mangroves and a gift to the reef beyond.

This is our chance to restore balance, resilience and beauty to the Daintree floodplain. Let’s make it happen together.

Big thank you to David White from Solar Whisper Daintree River Crocodile & Wildlife Cruises for helping us explore these incredible mangrove systems and for the additional footage featured in this video.

Fantastic storytelling and vocal abilities from both The Ocelots and Jack Raymond last night at the first Ararat Live for 2026!

"The Ocelots a compelling indie-folk group with open tuned guitar, clawhammer banjo and harmonica, the Irish twin brothers blend absurdity, sincerity and hilarious stage banter into an array of literature-inspired musings. "
You can see them playing Port Fairy Folk Festival

"There’s a quiet power in Jack Raymond’s voice — that rare mix of grit and warmth that makes you stop and listen. It’s the sound of gum leaves cracking underfoot, the hum of a night drive, the ache of home when you’ve been gone too long.
Born in The Victorian High Country, Jack grew up surrounded by mountains and stories and the roots run deep through his music. He calls it “Mountain Roots” — a blend of blues, folk and heart.
You can see Jack performing next along the East Coast of Australia"

Thanks everyone who joined and supported live music @ Ararat Live!
Steve Poltz is playing next month on March 11.
Then Malcura playing March 12 CONCERT SERIES, Ararat Town Hall.

Dramatic Lightning Storm at Sunset | 41°C Catastrophic Fire Danger | Victoria

This is what happens when a calm sunset turns electric.

I filmed this spectacular storm after sunset on Friday January 9th, from a safe distance in Ararat, Victoria. Earlier that day, conditions were beyond extreme. Temperatures reached 41 degrees, with a Catastrophic fire danger rating in place. At around 2 pm in Ararat, hot winds were blowing at 41 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 80 km/h.

As lightning rippled across the sky later that evening, the Streatham grassfire could be seen burning on the horizon, around 40 km away.

The fire started on 9 January and burned over 20,000 hectares, stretching all the way toward rural Skipton. As of Monday 12 January, the fire is now contained.

Thinking of everyone who is impacted by fires all over Victoria.
Thanks to friends in Australia and Overseas who have reached out. We are safe and well. We were packed and ready to evacuate during the Gariwerd / Grampians Bushfires last summer and there are fires burning around the state of Vic, more and more extreme weather.

Massive thanks to the CFA, SES, all first responders, and everyone who has been dealing with bushfires across Victoria. Your work protects lives, land, and communities.
⚠️ Important reminder
Please make sure you have a fire plan, look out for others, and stay safe.
👉 Discuss your emergency plan with family.

✍️ Analog always wins when digital fails. Be ready to go retro.
👉 Please leave water out for the wildlife
