Blinman Pools Hike - Flinders Ranges
Where adventure, nature, and breathtaking scenery come together in one unforgettable hike.
Trade the city noise for rugged gorges, peaceful pools, and endless breathtaking outback views.

Hidden among the rugged landscapes of the Flinders Ranges, the Blinman Pools Walk is one of South Australia’s most rewarding adventures. Following a rocky creek bed through spectacular gorges, the trail leads to beautiful spring-fed pools surrounded by towering red cliffs.

Please Note: The hike features two stunning natural pools hidden deep within the Flinders Ranges, however Please note although the first pool is spring-fed and holds water year-round, the second pool comes alive mainly after heavy rain, creating a spectacular outback oasis, best during winter and spring - the rainy season. Along the creek particularly you’ll also pass numerous smaller waterholes, cascades, and pools.

⏱️ Allow 3-4 hours
🥾Moderate to challenging hike

💧 Carry plenty of water, wear comfortable sturdy hiking footwear, and avoid hiking during extreme heat.
