The small group size allowed us the enjoyment of sharing the experience with others as well as the opportunity to feel the immense quiet beauty of the Arctic, whether dogsledding on a frozen river through the forest, learning from Sami reindeer herders about their history and culture, or taking in the breathtaking beauty of the night skies. With the long Arctic nights, Peter and David took us to different locations to ensure that we would have a marvellous view of the stars and the aurora (which we were fortunate to see every night of the trip!), as well as interesting foregrounds that enhanced our photos. With respect to photography, they were great at working with each of us at our own levels; I was definitely a novice among professionals and serious hobbyists, and I learned so much!
