While we’ve been fortunate to partner with Colonel Light Gardens Primary School on a variety of great projects over the years, this was special place for us.
An Acknowledgement of Country provides us with an opportunity to show respect for the Traditional Owners and celebrate the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country.
Bringing this to life was a true collaborative effort with the faculty and superstar students of Colonel Light Gardens Primary School. Massive thanks to Matt from Video Savvi for teaming up with us to make it happen!

Beautiful rainy Sunday morning hike with my girl and the hound. Cosy on the couch now for some baseball highlights. Bloody lucky bu**er.

I forget that people can’t hear what goes on in my head when I’m doing what I do on shoots! so this might explain a few things at least :-)

A long time between posts for me. The past 9-10 months have been an absolute baller. So many fun projects, new adventures and growth. The wedding and events season will slow down a little for a while but it’s time now for to kick off so no rest on the horizon. I was very fortunate to recently travel to the Maldives for aboard documenting an incredible week of learning and luxury. This is just a couple of the scenes I was able to soak up. Thanks to fellow photog for taking the camera off my hands to grab this portrait. Thanks also to my beautiful for holding down the fort back at home while I “worked” ;-)

Saturday was epic for a few reasons, I was fortunate enough to spend the day capturing the wedding of Deanna and Jordan AND I had the extra good fortune to have my eldest son Henry along to assist and see what his old man has been doing all those daysI've not been home on weekends over the past 17+ years he's been alive (he captured the thumbnail image of Jordan and Deanna entering their reception amongst fireworks)

A few frames straight out of camera (otherwise I’ll never get around to sharing anything ever!) from Melanie & Frank’s beautiful intimate celebration at The Station in Kapunda. Epic venue, delicious food and a cracking couple.

Some frames from today’s shoot for United Airlines to mark the arrival of their first direct flight from San Francisco to Adelaide Airport. Had a blast working alongside the team from Hughes PR and assistance with some different angles, handing me lenses and wrangling the data from Yanni.

I’m in Coober Pedy at the moment, working on a story for and today I woke early to see what sunrise might bring, heading to a vantage point I’d spied last night. My hope at the time was that there might be some clouds to catch the color as the sun showed its goodness on another day in this unique landscape. I figured I’d have the place to myself, but another fella had beaten me to it. From a distance I called out asking if he’d mind just walking along the crest in longish strides for me (to add some context and a nice human touch to the scene). I was impressed at how precisely he nailed the brief without hesitation. Little did I know until meeting him at the coffee shop later in the morning that it was someone very much used to the journey and the ‘travel vision’ - is a travel writer of many a fine adventure, in town on stopover on his way out to Lake Eyre. What a magic trip that’ll be I’m sure. Gotta love small country towns and how readily you see the same faces or just get chatting to strangers and great outcomes result.
