A little edit we put together from footage captured aboard ScubaSpa in the Maldives as the photographer/videographer for the inaugural Buoyancy Controlled Dentist conference. Thanks to fellow photographer and roomy on this trip Matthew Smith for the epic underwater imagery and some of the drone footage. This was my first live-aboard adventure in the Maldives and the team at Scubaspa Maldives didn’t miss a beat - exceptional service and the dive team were next level switched on for our dives. Trilok is my very talented dentist (I’ve presented him with a few toothy challenges of late) and he’s the brains behind this conference concept. It provided a superb balance between learning about their craft and exploring this stunning ocean. Looking forward to heading back in 2027!

What happens when you combine nearly two decades of wine science with a passion for pushing boundaries? You get wines that are untamed, happy, free-spirited, and made out of grapes and absolutely nothing else.
This past weekend, I had the absolute pleasure to spend some time with Alex Schulkin, wine maker and owner of The Other Right, where I learnt a little more about making Organic wine.

Under the belief that there’s never just one "right" way to do things, Alex started this label in 2012 to challenge conventions. Making wine with zero additives means letting it evolve at its own natural rhythm. It requires immense patience, intense attention to detail, and a lot of creative problem-solving.

From the beautiful Adelaide Hills to a special pocket of McLaren Vale, 100% of their fruit is sourced from long-term vineyard partners practicing organic and sustainable farming.

While the focus of this visit was to grab some new portraits of Alex doing what he does so well, it was also great to spend some time sampling some varieties straight from the barrel..and then heading home to sit by the fire with a bottle of the finished product from the last vintage!

While we’ve been fortunate to partner with Colonel Light Gardens Primary School on a variety of great projects over the years, this was special place for us.
An Acknowledgement of Country provides us with an opportunity to show respect for the Traditional Owners and celebrate the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country.
Bringing this to life was a true collaborative effort with the faculty and superstar students of Colonel Light Gardens Primary School. Massive thanks to Matt from Video Savvi for teaming up with us to make it happen!

A long time between posts for me. The past 9-10 months have been an absolute baller. So many fun projects, new adventures and growth. The wedding and events season will slow down a little for a while but it’s time now for to kick off so no rest on the horizon. I was very fortunate to recently travel to the Maldives for aboard documenting an incredible week of learning and luxury. This is just a couple of the scenes I was able to soak up. Thanks to fellow photog for taking the camera off my hands to grab this portrait. Thanks also to my beautiful for holding down the fort back at home while I “worked” ;-)
