Extremely long time between posts, but hey that's life. As a Chaplain I have been flat out with the recent bushfires in SA. Last week I left Kangaroo Island after deployment in the Recovery Centre. While there, I was privileged to be invited on a private bus tour to view the currently closed Flinders Chase Nat. Pk. Even though it was heartbreaking to witness, there was a strange beauty to the devastation. It was also encouraging to see the resilience of new growth, pushing up from the deep layers of ash throughout KI.
