5 star google review January 2026" From start to finish, our experience with Total Capture Photography was amazing. It began with an introductory appointment with Samantha, who clearly explained the process involved in a family photoshoot, took the time to get to know each of us and to brainstorm ideas of what would work well for our family to capture who we are, with ideas for the ideal setting, good complementary colours for clothing, what colours to avoid, etc. This was followed up by good communication closer to the photoshoot with weather looking potentially sketchy.For the photoshoot itself, Rhys took us to a beautiful clearing in Mt Crawford forest, and apart from being an awesome photographer (the photos we got showed this), we were particularly impressed with how well he worked with young kids, making them feel at ease, and getting photos of them being “natural” as well as posing, and getting our shy youngest to come out of himself and pose. His easygoing manner helped the kids to really enjoy the shoot (our daughter asked afterwards when can we do it again!).The showcase appointment with Stephanie was also very enjoyable and well-run, in the peaceful setting of their studio. With so many amazing photographs to choose our primary print collection from, she helped guide us to narrow down the selection and settle on a collection which now looks incredible on our dining room wall with the wood finish.The entire Total Capture Photography team were really professional and at the same time very personal and made the photoshoot a thoroughly enjoyable process from start to finish, and we are very happy with the results (both our main printed collection and all the digital photos).
