2026 Christmas Mini Sessions are now open to bookings!

There are two ways to do Christmas photos this year.

Golden light and good company 🌿
Relaxed family photos outdoors, in soft golden light. You wander, giggle and tease each other the way you do at home, and I chase the light and catch the moments you’d never think to pose.

Sunday 1 November, morning sessions at Blackwood Forest
Friday November 6th and Sunday 15 November, sunset sessions at Cobbler Creek

Wonderfully awkward 🎅

Matching pyjamas, ugly jumpers, terrible poses and faces you’ll deny ever making. Bring the whole family, just Mum and the kids, or even just the kids.

Sunday 22 November, Paralowie Studio

They’re on different days, so you can book both. Either one also makes a gift nobody else will be giving, because Nan has enough candles.

A golden hour family session at Cobbler Creek 🌾

This mum and her two teenagers spent our whole session making each other laugh, and honestly, that's exactly the kind of energy I love capturing.

We wandered through the long grass as it moved in the wind, chasing that gorgeous golden light as the sun dipped lower and lower. Every corner of Cobbler Creek looked stunning that evening.

But the light wasn't even the best part. It was watching this family just be themselves together, the jokes, the teasing, the little moments in between the "posed" shots.

So happy they now have updated family photos that actually feel like them.

“Hopefully the kids behave…”
“What if the dog won’t sit still?”
“We’re all awkward in photos.”

As a family photographer, I hear these worries ALL the time!

But here’s the truth:

The families you see in my photos aren’t “perfect” families.

They’re real families.

With messy hair, snack breaks, chaotic dogs, energetic kids, and moments that don’t go exactly to plan.

And honestly?

That’s usually where the magic happens.

Some of the most meaningful images come from the in-between moments:

🤍 the cuddles
🤍 the laughter
🤍 the chaos
🤍 the connection

Not perfect posing.

From 1st birthday cake smash giggles… to this.

Watching her grow from that tiny one-year-old to the beautiful little girl she is now. It’s something I’ll never take for granted.

A rainbow balloon, a favourite park, and a moment in time that feels as special as she is.

These are the years that pass quietly… and mean everything.

It's at one of my favourite parks in Greenwith this coming Monday (Easter Monday - public holiday) at 9:30am.

Session fee is $95 and includes your favourite 2 images digitally and our special Mini Session price list for any extras.

Three boys, a little older now…
and their beautiful Mum right in the middle of it all.

Grey skies, soft light, and a little rain falling at the beginning -
the kind of afternoon that feels quiet and real.

Watching them grow, and capturing these moments again is something I’ll never take for granted.
