Stumbled upon this ominous countdown in an alley off Little Bourke Street in Melbourne, a piece by called End Passage. The digital clock is counting down to 2030, the earliest estimated date by which climate change could reach the dreaded +1.5°c change that could result in (more) widespread natural disasters. A dark dead end indeed.

I can't run a marathon, but I can brew a pretty great cup of coffee!

I always thought of myself as a travel photographer, as that's where I find the most inspiration behind the camera. But travel has been hard to do of late to say the least, and my trigger finger has been getting itchy! So I recently got my hands on a second hand camera body and lens, the Sony a9 and the Sony 100-400mm, in a hope the extra reach and fast autofocus will help me find a few subjects closer to home!

This is Curtis. I named him that just then. He sleeps 20 hours a day, within arms-reach of food. He poops when he pleases, and since it just falls to the ground, he doesn't have to deal with it. All the while looking cute af.
