Hey, my name’s Alex and I’m an Adelaide wedding photographer. When it comes to weddings, we often think of the highlight reel: the rings, the cake, the dances. Well, I’m going to let you in on something that I’ve learned throughout my career: Each moment is important. And maybe you don’t know how yet, or even why – but trust me, that picture-perfect shot of your first kiss as husband and wife might be the emotional equal to that spontaneous snap of your dad’s happy tear. Don’t get me wrong, my goal isn’t to harass Dad until he cries. But things can get intense. You want a photographer who’s going to be by your side every step of the way, someone you can rely on for their calming, organised approach...and incredible images. Personal, quiet images captured with a journalistic flair. Images you didn’t know you wanted but once you’ve seen them, can’t live without. I have one simple goal: to transport you back to a feeling.

My days off look much the same. Laura and our three kids, cards with friends, serving at church. Nothing staged, nothing rushed.

For Rochell & Nic’s Al Ru Farm wedding, Sweet Nothings // Carolyn brought together rich pinks, soft peaches, and warm tones that felt completely at home amongst the garden setting.

From the bridal bouquet to the ceremony florals, every detail added another layer of personality to the day. One of the most meaningful moments was when Rochell gifted her bridal bouquet to her mum during the ceremony, a simple gesture filled with so much love and emotion.

The flowers became more than just beautiful details, they became part of the memories, the stories, and the moments that made their day truly special. 🌸

Somewhere in Chloe and Brody’s house, there’s a running Uno tally. Brody 212, Chloe 192. He’ll tell you he’s winning. She’ll tell you it isn’t over.

These two read Harry Potter aloud to each other. They’d choose a swimming hole over almost anywhere else. They got engaged in the wind on top of Mount William, then drove the long way home through Ararat because the Grampians had caught fire that afternoon.

So much of their day at Brin Farm was made by Chloe’s own hands. Brody would like it noted that he helped. A little.

Here’s a first glimpse of their film. The full story is still being woven together, and we can’t wait to give it back to them.
